Since I was young, I've always loved telling stories, so, in college, I decided to minor in Theater, where one of my professors encouraged me strongly to pursue a career in the arts! His encouragement led me to get further training at the Storytellers Conservatory, where I’m currently developing my ability to tell stories effectively. This has also led me down the road to producing Table Reads, being a part of podcasts and audiobooks, and auditioning for series leads, regulars, and film leads!!
I graduated from UCLA with a Biology B.S. and soon after a Biology M.S. Having grown up in a household where birds were the only pets allowed (my parents that are allergic to nearly everything!), I fell in love with Ornithology, which is why I studied the evolution of birdsong in dark-eyed juncos as a result of urbanization.
During my college days, I fell in love with singing, particularly classical singing (AKA opera!). I know, right? Petite, little, 5 foot tall, 100 pound girl singing crazy loud, all the time. I love the feeling of letting my emotions go so fully into the piece I’m singing.
Current favorite Aria: Iolanta’s Arioso by Tchaikovsky.
Current pieces working on:
-A bunch of Bach inventions
I have a cat. She is quite fat. Her name is Galaxy and she's the best companion I could've ever asked for! I absolutely adore her! I rescued her from an LA shelter the day before she was to be euthanized. Since then, she hasn't given me a day of rest from making sure she is fed on time!
I’m constantly learning something new, whether it’s picking up a new skill or learning a new language!
